Managing your team

Managing your team

Head coaches only. The Team page doesn’t appear in an assistant coach’s navigation, and opening it directly shows “Only head coaches can manage the team.”

Team Management shows the coaches in your company. Coaches come in two roles — head and assistant — described in Roles & permissions. A line at the top of the page tracks how many are active out of the total.

Who’s on the team

Under Coaches in Your Company, each coach is listed with:

  • Name — with (you) marking your own row.
  • Email
  • Role — head or assistant.
  • Status — active or deactivated.
  • Pending reviews — how many reports are waiting on that coach. Select the count to open the review queue filtered to their work; a note underneath tells you how old the oldest one is, so you can spot a coach falling behind.

Invite a coach

  1. On the Team page, open the Invite Codes panel.
  2. Select Generate invite code.
  3. Use Copy to copy the code, then send it to the coach you’re adding.

Codes are single-use and expire after 7 days. The new coach enters that code when they sign up (see Getting started) and joins as an assistant coach.

There’s no invite link — just the code. The coach signs up themselves and pastes it into the Invite code field.

Tracking invites you’ve sent

The panel lists every code with its state and the relevant timestamps:

  • Pending — not yet used, still inside its 7 days. Only these can be revoked, and only these show the code in full.
  • Used — someone signed up with it. The code is masked from here on.
  • Expired — the 7 days ran out before anyone used it.
  • Revoked — you cancelled it.

Select Revoke on a pending code to cancel it before it’s used.

If you already work with assistant coaches in TrainingPeaks, you can import them instead of inviting each one by hand — see Connecting TrainingPeaks.

Remove a coach

Select Deactivate on a coach’s row, then confirm. Their history is preserved; they simply can no longer sign in to your company’s workspace.

You can’t deactivate yourself. If you’re stepping away, ask another head coach in your company to do it.
