Custom AI feedback
Head coaches only. Assistant coaches see this page but can’t edit it.
Every analysis comes with AI-written coaching feedback. With custom prompts, head coaches shape the instructions the AI follows — its tone, emphasis, and the points it always makes — so the feedback sounds like your coaching, not a generic template.
Global and per-training-type prompts
Open Prompts from the sidebar. You can set:
- A global default that applies to every workout, and
- A per-training-type prompt that fine-tunes the feedback for a specific kind of session — for example base, sweet spot, tempo, threshold, VO2 max, race, or recovery.
The right prompt is chosen automatically based on the athlete’s training type when feedback is written. If there’s no matching training-type prompt, the global default is used.
Add to or replace the default
For each prompt you can choose how it combines with PlanMyPeak’s built-in instructions:
- Add to default — your instructions are appended to the standard guidance.
- Replace default — your instructions are used instead of it.
Save your changes, and they apply to feedback generated from then on. Each slot keeps a history of previous versions, so you can see what changed over time.
Custom prompts change how feedback is written, not who can approve it. Approving and publishing still works the same way for every coach — see Reviewing a workout.
