Sharing public reports
Who can use this — all coaches, for the athletes they can see. A public report is created when you approve and publish an analysis.
A public report is a clean, shareable page that summarizes a workout analysis. It’s designed to be safe to share: it contains no personal details such as names, email addresses, or account identifiers.
Getting the link
A public report link is created automatically when you Approve and publish an analysis — see Reviewing a workout. Once the report is published, you’ll find the link on the activity, and the same link is included in the comment posted to TrainingPeaks.
Copy the link and send it to your athlete, or post it where your group can see it. Anyone with the link can open the report — no account or sign-in is required.
What is and isn’t included
- Included — the workout compliance summary, the supporting charts and metrics that explain the result, and the coaching feedback you approved.
- Not included — any personal identifying information. The athlete is shown simply as “Athlete,” and there are no coach, company, or TrainingPeaks details. The report also hides internal status such as edit history or whether it was auto-approved.
Because anyone with the link can view a public report, share the link only with people you intend to see it. The link is the key.
